KULGAM: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kulgam, today organised a Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) programme under the leadership of its Principal, Shafak Shamsi.
The programme marked an important step towards strengthening parent-school collaboration and promoting the holistic development of students. Parents participated enthusiastically and engaged in meaningful discussions on academic excellence, student welfare, discipline, character building and the overall growth of students.
As part of the programme, PTC members were duly selected, including Mohd. Shareef, Mubarak Ahmad Dar, Humaira Hammed, Haseena Hassan, Shabeer Ahmad Khan, Yasir Rasool Shah, Kulsuma Banoo, Nageena Akhter, Haji Ghulam Hassan Shad, Mohd. Ashraf Mir, Rehana Akhter and Sumi Jan.
Their active involvement is expected to further strengthen the vital bridge between parents and the school community.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Shafak Shamsi emphasised the indispensable role of parents in shaping students’ academic journey, values, confidence and future prospects. She called for active participation, constructive dialogue and collective responsibility to build an inspiring, supportive and nurturing educational environment.
