UDHAMPUR: Consultants from the Industries and Commerce Department held a district-level training-cum-demonstration programme on the implementation of the PM Gati Shakti–National Master Plan in district Udhampur.
Among those present was Chief Planning Officer Udhampur Uttam Singh, along with officers and officials from various departments.
During the training session, participants received hands-on demonstrations of the key features and functionalities of the PM Gati Shakti platform. The consultants explained in detail the role of the digital platform in facilitating integrated infrastructure planning, enabling seamless sharing of departmental data and strengthening coordination among various departments.
Technical Experts Santosh Kumar and Yudhishter Seth briefed participants on the importance of effective utilisation of the PM Gati Shakti portal for informed decision-making, coordinated planning and expediting developmental projects.
The participants were encouraged to make optimum use of the digital platform to ensure seamless inter-departmental coordination and efficient implementation of various infrastructure and development initiatives.
The training also provided an opportunity for the officers and officials concerned to clarify their queries and gain practical understanding of the portal and its applications in departmental planning.
