BHADERWAH: The sacred Annual Kailash Yatra of Shri Vasuki Nag Ji Maharaj Bhaderwah commenced today with immense religious fervour and devotion.
The Holy Chhari Yatra commenced from Vasukinag Temple, Gatha, merged with the Nagar Chhari at Vasakdera, and then proceeded towards the first Padav at Hayyan via Sungli.
On the first night, devotees will camp at Hayyan. The following day, the Holy Chhari will ascend to the revered Kailash Kund, situated at an altitude of 14,500 ft, via Ramtund, where pilgrims will take the sacred bath and participate in traditional rituals.
The third day will witness the return journey from Kailash Kund back to Bhaderwah town, bringing the annual pilgrimage to a spiritual culmination.
Dr Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister, MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Parihar, DDC Chairman Dhanater Singh, SSP Bhaderwah and several senior functionaries of the administration joined the Yatra.||
Ashok Sharma (IPS Retd), Secretary of Dharmarth Trust, expressed his deep appreciation to the District Administration Doda for their wholehearted support and assistance in making the arrangements.
He further stated that the Dharmarth Trust, under the patronage of Chairman Trustee Dr. Karan Singh and the esteemed Trustees, has made all necessary provisions for the pilgrims to undertake this sacred journey with convenience and serenity.
The Kailash Yatra, one of the most significant spiritual events of the region, continues to be a symbol of deep faith, cultural heritage, and divine blessings, attracting thousands of devotees each year.
