KISHTWAR: The Rural Development Department Trigam under the supervision of BDO Roopesh Sharma organized Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Palaash Children Home Boys Kishtwar, here today.
Renowned singer Samridhi Sen and BDO Bunjwah Ajaz Ahmed Butt graced the event as chief guest and guest of honor, respectively.
The program began with singing of National Anthem followed by welcome speech by BDO who also highlighted the campaign’s significance and the national flag’s history.
He said that the District Administration Kishtwar aims to instill patriotic values among the younger generation and ensure that they grow up with respect for our nation and its glorious past.
He further emphasized that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a proud initiative to inspire a sense of patriotism and unity among every citizen.
BDO Bunjwah emphasized honoring national heroes’ legacies and inspiring the younger generation. He also advised children to work hard in their studies and contribute towards development of the nation in a holistic and inclusive way.
Samridhi Sen sang a patriotic song, encouraging students to participate and contribute to nation-building.
A patriotic quiz competition was held, followed by distribution of gifts and refreshment among participants. The talent showcased by children applauded by the dignitaries.
The event was attended by the Superintendent of Palash Children Home Boys Rohit Shan, RDD staff, DIPR staff, media personnel and students, fostering patriotism and national pride.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude towards the staff of the Palash children home Kishtwar for their unwavering cooperation and support besides other participants in making the event a grand success.
