POONCH: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Poonch has invited interested parties to attend pre- lok adalat sessions ahead of National Lok Adalat being organised on September 12, 2026 for speedy and amicable resolution of disputes.
“The National Lok Adalat will take up both pre-litigation and post-litigation cases, providing an effective platform for parties to resolve their disputes through mutual agreement and settlement,” an official handout stated.
As part of the preparations, Pre-Lok Adalat sessions shall be conducted from August 18 to September 11, 2026 here at the District Court Complex. During these sessions, eligible cases will be identified and parties facilitated to discuss their matters and arrive at mutually acceptable settlements.
The initiative aims to reduce litigation, provide expeditious justice and promote an accessible and cost-effective mechanism for resolution of disputes. Settlement through Lok Adalat also helps parties avoid prolonged litigation and saves valuable time and resources.
The DLSA Poonch has appealed to the eligible litigants and concerned parties to make full use of the Pre-Lok Adalat sessions and the National Lok Adalat scheduled for speedy, amicable and mutually acceptable settlement of their cases.
