JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School organised an energetic and heart-warming Special Sports Day to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The celebration, held on the school campus, embraced this year’s global theme, “Pathways to Possibilities,” emphasizing empowerment, ability, and the limitless potential within every individual.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Nitish Rajora (IAS), Director of the Information Department, Jammu & Kashmir. Lauding the school’s commitment to inclusive education, he called for wider societal support to ensure equal opportunities for all children.
School Vice-Chairperson Rohini Aima also attended the programme and delivered an inspiring address. “Today is a celebration not just of sports, but of the human spirit, resilience, and the extraordinary ‘pathways to possibilities’ that emerge when we choose inclusion,” she said. “While our mentors have organised this event wonderfully, the true heroes are our students, whose enthusiasm and determination have lit up the field.”
