SAMBA: Yuva Mission, Unnat Bharat and Shikshit Bharat clubs of Government Degree College Vijaypur organized “Bhrashtachar Mukt Bharat” Pledge as part of the ongoing celebrations under the “Sewa Parv”.
The event aimed to spread awareness about the need to eradicate corruption and instil moral values and ethical responsibility among students and faculty. Participants solemnly pledged to uphold honesty in their personal and professional lives, to report unethical practices and to work towards building a corruption-free India.
The College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ashu Vashisht emphasized the importance of education in shaping a just and transparent society. She further stated that youth, as the future leaders of the nation, have a crucial role in building a Bhrashtachar Mukt Bharat.
The program was a part of the college’s ongoing commitment to national development through Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, which bridges the gap between higher education institutions and rural India and Shikshit Bharat, which envisions a literate, empowered and ethically responsible society.
All faculty members, non-teaching staff and a large number of students enthusiastically participated in the event and resolved to be vigilant citizens who stand against all forms of corruption.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (HOD Education) with the support of Prof. Anita Jamwal (HOD Political Science), Prof Mamta Gupta (HOD, Commerce), Dr. Manoj Heer (HOD Dogri), Dr. Naseem Choudhary (HOD English), Prof. Meetu Sharma(HOD Geography), Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Anoop Singh and Prof. Manisha Bharti.
