RAMBAN, OCTOBER 3: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban today organized an awareness programme on JK Samadhan and JK Sehat initiative, in line with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan. The event was coordinated by the Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with the Skill Committee of the College.
In his inaugural address, the College Principal Prof. Satish Kumar highlighted the significance of digital governance and online initiatives launched by the Government for the welfare of citizens. He stressed that such platforms empower people by ensuring transparency, accessibility and efficiency in service delivery.
The resource persons for the programme included HOD Computer Applications Prof. Aditya Sharma, HOD Geography Dr. Anuj Gupta and HOD History Dr. Vishal Baloria. They elaborated on the objectives, features and benefits of JK Samadhan and JK Sehat initiatives, while also providing a step-by-step demonstration of the registration process on these platforms.
Following the interactive sessions, an on-spot registration drive was launched, during which students enrolled themselves on both platforms. They were further encouraged to motivate and assist their families and community members in registering for these services at home.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Arjun Gupta. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included HOD Chemistry Prof. Raj Kumar Gupta, and HOD Physics Prof. Sanjay Kumar Katal.
