POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting at the DC Office, Poonch to review and dispose of the cases related to Change of Land Use (CLU) permissions.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Muhammad Sayeed; General Manager DIC Naheem Un Nissa; Chief Executive Officer PDA, along with concerned district officers and representatives from line departments.
The committee held detailed deliberations on the land use change cases received from Poonch, Surankote, Mandi, Mendhar, Mankote and adjoining areas. The cases were examined with regard to the relevant revenue records, departmental requirements, land-use provisions and applicable rules and regulations.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to undertake thorough scrutiny and timely disposal of CLU permission cases while ensuring strict compliance with statutory provisions and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
He emphasized that all cases should be examined objectively on their merits and that necessary inter-departmental coordination be maintained to facilitate timely decision-making without compromising regulatory requirements.
The meeting also reviewed the status of pending cases and discussed measures for expediting their disposal in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
