KATHUA: A capacity building training programme on the rollout of e-Office 2.0 was successfully conducted at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex Kathua.
The session was part of administration’s efforts to familiarise district-level officers and master trainers with the upgraded digital office management system.
The awareness-cum-training session witnessed active participation of officials from various line departments. During the session, participants were sensitized about the significance of adopting digital governance tools to improve efficiency and streamline office functioning. Live demonstrations were conducted by the resource persons on key features of the e-Office portal including file creation, movement, tracking and overall digital workflow management.
District Informatics Officer, NIC Kathua, Shubham Singh stressed the need for timely adoption and uniform implementation of the e-Office system across all departments to minimize physical paperwork, enhance administrative transparency, improve productivity and ensure faster citizen service delivery. The session also provided a platform for participants to engage in an interactive discussion where they raised queries and shared feedback regarding the new system.
The training was conducted in the presence of Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua, Surinder Mohan who appreciated the efforts of the NIC team and stressed upon the importance of capacity building to ensure seamless transition to a digital work environment.
