JAMMU: Social Welfare Department Samba organized an awareness camp at Government Degree College Vijaypur to sensitize the participants about various welfare schemes of the Department.
During the awareness session, Ritika Banotra from the Social Welfare Department informed the students and staff regarding various welfare schemes such as Scholarship, provision of Motorized tricycle, Indira Gandhi Old age Pension Scheme, Pension Scheme for Widow Women, Pension Scheme for disabled people, Marriage Assistance Scheme and BBBP.
The Programme was organized with the support of NSP Scholarship Committee: Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Convenor), Dr. Manoj Heer(HOD Dogri) and Prof. Meetu Sharma(INO. The Programme was also attended by the senior faculty members Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Bhagat, Prof. Anoop Kumar Bhagat and Dr. Arti Sharma.
