JAMMU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday appointed senior IPS officer Mukesh Singh as the Director General of Police (DGP), Ladakh, with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the MHA, Mukesh Singh, a 1996-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been posted as DGP, Ladakh on repatriation from Central deputation until further orders.
The appointment was approved by the competent authority. The order also announced other postings and transfers of IPS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre.
