JAMMU: Upholding its long-standing tradition of service and social responsibility, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu has contributed to relief efforts for the victims of the recent floods in Jammu & Kashmir.
Recognizing the hardships faced by affected communities, the school rallied its entire community to extend a helping hand during these challenging times.
Through the collective efforts of the school management, staff, students, and stakeholders, Jodhamal Public School raised a generous amount to support the flood-affected families. A donation cheque of ₹5 lakhs was formally handed over to Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, and Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu. The administration appreciated this initiative and acknowledged the school’s spirit of humanitarian service.
On the occasion, the school’s student leaders, including Head Girl Guhika Sachdev, Head Boy Puneesh Singh Manhas, Deputy Head Girl Gunjot Kour, Deputy Head Boy Rajanya Ratta, Junior Head Girl Sara Nawaz, and Junior Head Boy Namit Malhotra, personally visited the DC Office to present the cheque on behalf of the entire school community.
This goodwill initiative received strong support from School Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Director Arati Kuthiala, who extended their best wishes to the affected families and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to stand by society in times of need. School Principal Dr. Deep Khare and Vice Principal Amita Arora expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff, students, and parents for their generous contributions.
