JAMMU: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has announced that offline classes in all government and private schools across the district will resume from September 10.
According to the order, schools will remain closed until September 6. However, heads of institutions and staff have been directed to report for duty starting September 8 to conduct safety audits and ensure all facilities are ready to welcome students back.
The Directorate has further instructed Chief Education Officers (CEOs) to closely monitor preparations in their respective districts and submit compliance reports.
This step comes after prolonged disruption caused by recent adverse weather and floods, with authorities emphasizing both student safety and academic continuity as schools reopen.
