UDHAMPUR: As part of the ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Divas 2026 celebrations, a two-day awareness camp was organised here at tribal village Dhargaddiyan (Block Sewna) with the participation of various line departments.
The Officers and officials sensitized the local population about the government schemes, welfare initiatives and benefits available to tribal communities.
The Health Department set up stalls to facilitate health check-ups, while the Agriculture Department distributed free samples of fertilisers, seeds and pesticides among farmers.
The Sheep Husbandry Department provided detailed information about the incentives and departmental schemes and identified eligible beneficiaries for availing the benefits.
An essay-writing competition was also organised at middle school Dhargaddiyan as part of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas 2026 to encourage students’ participation and awareness.
The participating departments also interacted with local residents, listened to their demands and grievances and took note of the issues raised for necessary follow-up action.
