KISHTWAR: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, on Friday visited general areas of Kishtwar district and reviewed the prevailing security situation, counter-terrorism grid and operational preparedness of troops.
During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the existing security architecture, contingency preparedness and infrastructure in the hinterland. He directed the troops to undertake further measures to enhance operational effectiveness, safety and support capabilities.
The White Knight Corps, in a post on X, said Lieutenant General Mishra also emphasised the need for sustained vigilance and operational readiness among the troops.
The GOC urged all ranks to remain vigilant and mission-ready at all times, underscoring the importance of maintaining a high level of preparedness to meet emerging security challenges.
