JAMMU: Students of Heritage School delivered an impressive performance at the 4th Ranking Roller Skating Championship, organised by the Jammu & Kashmir Roller Skating Association and held at MA Stadium from August 7 to 9, 2026.
The school contingent returned with a total of 53 medals, including 25 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze medals, across Loose Bearing, Jonex Quads, Quad/Inline Speed, Roller Hockey and mixed-category events.
In the Loose Bearing Event, Manridh Singh of Class I-B won gold in the U-8 Boys 500 metre race, while Kashvi Rajput of Class I-E secured silver in the U-8 Girls 500 metre race. Vaibhavi Mahajan of Class IV-B won gold in the U-12 Girls 500 metre race, while Lakshiv Sharma of UKG-C received a consolation medal in the U-6 Boys 500 metre race.
In Jonex Quads, Jaisvi Kaur Sarkaria of Class I-D won bronze in the U-10 Girls 500 metre race.
In the Quad/Inline Speed Event, Adyansh Verma of Class III-E won two gold medals in the U-10 Boys Inline 500 metre and 1000 metre races. Aarav Thakur of Class IV-F secured two silver medals in the U-10 Boys Quad 500 metre and 1000 metre races, while Mivaan of Class III-B won bronze in the U-10 Boys Quad 1000 metre race.
Heritage School students also performed strongly in Roller Hockey. In the Tiny Tots category, Jaisvi Kaur Sarkaria, Prehaan Tripathi and Aadriti Sharma won gold medals.
In Cadet Boys Roller Hockey, Agastya Shivpuri, Bhumik Singh Salathia and Sidharth Singh won gold, while several other students secured silver and bronze medals.
In Cadet Girls Roller Hockey, Prashasti Sharma, Kamaakshi Mahajan, Neyonika Slathia, Tvisha Sharma, Aadriti Sharma and Veeha Sharma won gold medals.
In the Sub-Junior Boys category, Vihaan Sharma of Class VIII-B won gold, while Samarthya Singh of Class VII-D secured silver.
The school also registered a strong performance in the Cadet Mix Event, where Agastya Shivpuri, Prehaan Tripathi, Kiaan Charak, Siaan Gorka, Veeha Sharma, Aadriti Sharma and Prashasti Sharma won gold medals. Several other students secured silver and bronze medals in the same category.
In the Sub-Junior Mix Event, Navdeep Kour, Kumar Vanishree N Verma and Vihaan Sharma won gold medals, while Samarthya Singh secured silver.
The school said the performance reflected the students’ dedication, discipline, perseverance and sporting spirit.
The Heritage School fraternity congratulated all the young skaters on their achievements and wished them success in future competitions.
