BHADERWAH: A live telecast of the release of 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held today at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Bhaderwah. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 200 farmers hailing from different parts of the region, who gathered to witness the Prime Minister’s address and the digital disbursement of financial benefits under the scheme.
The programme was graced by the presence of Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal, and DDC Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani.
Chief Scientist and Programme Coordinator, KVK Dr. A.S. Charak extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and participants.
Among other notable attendees were Chief Agriculture Officer Amjad Hussain Malik; District Agriculture Officer (Extension) and others.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal praised the initiative and emphasized the transformative impact of farmer-centric schemes on rural livelihoods. Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani also interacted with the farmers and encouraged them to adopt innovative and modern agricultural techniques to improve productivity.
