JAMMU: A 21-day Master Training Course was inaugurated today by the Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, Jammu & Kashmir Alok Kumar. DIG HG, CD & SDRF Jammu welcomed the Commandant General at the event.
The Commandant General outlined the objectives of the intensive training programme, stressing the importance of disaster management skills in saving lives and property. He urged participants to actively engage and maximise their learning.
He announced that expert consultants and institutions specialising in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) disaster response will support the training, enhancing its quality.
The course aims to train 30 Civil Defence Wardens and SDRF personnel to become master trainers.
The inaugural event was attended by Principal CTI Kot Bhalwal Dev Raj; Dy. SP Tajinder Kour, Dy. SP Danish Gupta and Dy. SP Zia-ul-Haq along with senior officers and trainees.
