JAMMU: KC International School celebrated its Junior School Annual Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur, showcasing the creativity and talent of students from Pre-Primary to Grade 5. The event highlighted cultural performances, academic achievements and the spirit of young learners.
Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), attended the function as Chief Guest. He appreciated the school’s efforts toward holistic education and applauded the confidence and artistic expression of the students.

Distinguished Guests of Honour present included Subah Mehta (Joint Commissioner, JMC & Additional CEO, Jammu Smart City), Yogesh Sawhney (Former MLA), Justice Sunil Hali (Chairman, FFRC), Chaitanya Chowdhary (President KCIS), Vishal Chowdhary (Vice President KCIS), Saroj Mahajan (General Secretary KCIS), Shikha Chowdhary (Finance Secretary KCIS), along with management representatives Ruby Kapoor, Bindu Chopra and Aryaman Chowdhary.
Special Guests included Amit Bhasin (JKPS, SSP Traffic City Jammu), Amit Gupta (Incharge & Convenor Advocate, Law and Legal Affairs Department, BJP J&K), Karan Sat Sharma, Varun Kotwal, Randhir Singh Slathia and educationist & vastu consultant Sumi Sethi.
Principal Anupama Sinha welcomed the Chief Guest, followed by a formal welcome to all dignitaries by Headmistress Sakshi Bhagat.
The cultural programme began with an engaging dance-drama on Pinocchio by the Pre-Primary Wing, followed by a vibrant musical presentation of The Jungle Book by the Primary Wing, creatively depicting human evolution from ancient times to present-day 2025. Both performances received enthusiastic applause.
A felicitation ceremony was conducted to honour students excelling in academics, sports and perfect attendance. Teachers were also recognised for their devoted services.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Aryaman Chowdhary, who acknowledged the support of guests, parents, staff and students. The celebration wrapped up on an inspiring note, celebrating creativity, discipline and the exceptional talent of young learners at KC International School.
