JAMMU: Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib, Jammu, celebrated its Annual Day function Kaleidoscope 5.0 – “Goonj” with remarkable zeal, colourful cultural performances, and enthusiastic participation from students and parents.
The event was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Sunil Kumar Sharma, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly; Surjeet Singh Salathia, Deputy Leader of the Opposition; Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, MLA Suchetgarh; and Nitish Rajora (IAS), Director of Information & Defence Labour Procurement, along with several other esteemed guests.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of Chairman Dr. Kamal Saini (IGP Retd.), Director, Satvinder Saini, Trustee Adv. Kunal Saini, Principal Dr. Manjari Sehgal, Vice Principal Shweta Bakshi, and Headmistress Khushboo Shaminotra. A graceful Ganesh Vandana set the tone for the evening.
In his address, Dr. Kamal Saini emphasized the institution’s commitment to holistic and value-driven education. Principal Dr. Sehgal presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements across academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and community service.
The thematic presentation “Goonj”, crafted by the school’s Performing Arts Department, captivated the audience with its expressive choreography, dramatic storytelling, and musical excellence inspired by India’s rich cultural heritage. The impressive stage design and 3D props created by the Art & Craft Department further elevated the visual splendour of the show.
Outstanding students were felicitated for excellence in academics, sports, and cultural activities, while faculty members were honoured for their dedication and contributions. The dignitaries praised the school’s progress and encouraged students to strive for excellence with determination and creativity.
