JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has sanctioned two days of Special Casual Leave for PM Package, migrant and Jammu-based employees posted in various departments across the Kashmir Division to celebrate Diwali in Jammu.
According to Government Order No. 1751-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on November 7, the special leave has been granted for November 7 (Saturday) and November 9 (Monday).
The order, issued with the approval of the competent authority, has been signed by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
The decision will facilitate the concerned employees in travelling to Jammu and celebrating the festival of Diwali with their families.
