SHOPIAN: A two-day training programme for District/Charge Officers in connection with the Population Enumeration (Snowbound Areas) under Census-2027 commenced today in District Shopian.
The training programme is aimed at sensitising and equipping the concerned officers with the requisite procedures, protocols and digital tools to be followed during the Population Enumeration phase in snowbound areas, ensuring smooth, accurate and effective conduct of the census exercise.
The programme was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shopian, Shakoor Ahmed Dar, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Shopian, Bilqees Zahoor, Tehsildars of Shopian and Keller, their respective Census Clerks and Master Trainers from the Census Department.
The training will provide participants with necessary guidance on the operational aspects of enumeration in snowbound and difficult-to-reach areas.
