Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan: Musical prog. & short play on drug abuse held at Benihama Ganderbal

GANDERBAL: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), in collaboration with the district administration Ganderbal through the District Information Office Ganderbal, organized a musical awareness programme and a short play on drug abuse at Panchayat Ghar Benihama.

The musical performance and a thought-provoking short play vividly portrayed the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of a drug-free society.

The programme received an overwhelming response from the local community, particularly the youth, who were visibly moved by the performances and pledged to stay away from drugs.

Officers from various departments of the district administration Ganderbal attended the event and lauded the initiative for using creative mediums like music and theatre to spread awareness.

They emphasized the significance of sustained efforts at the grassroots level to effectively combat the drug menace.
