UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today convened a meeting of officers of line departments to discuss the arrangements for effective implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh; Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; PO Poshan Subash Dogra; GM DIC Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan; Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh and other officers from line departments.

Speaking at the meeting, the DC informed that a series of activities, events and competitions will be organized under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the spirit of independence and patriotism.

She emphasized that the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative aims to instill a deep sense of patriotism among citizens, foster respect for the National Flag and promote awareness about national symbols.

The DC directed all departments to complete necessary preparations well in advance to ensure the successful execution of the campaign. She added that the district administration has already put in place essential arrangements and urged all stakeholders to work in close coordination for the effective implementation of scheduled events.

She also stressed the importance of adhering to the Flag Code of India and following standard protocol to maintain the sanctity and honor of the National Flag.
