DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Harvinder Singh along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sandeep Kumar Mehta today inspected the Doda-Kishtwar National Highway to assess the ground situation.

The officers took stock of the damages caused by heavy rains and landslides along the highway and directed the concerned authorities to ensure immediate clearance of all blocked road stretches to restore normal traffic movement. Instructions were also issued for the swift restoration of essential services, particularly water supply and electricity, in affected areas.

Emphasizing public safety, the DC appealed to the residents to stay away from rivers, streams, and other water bodies, as a precautionary measure during the ongoing monsoon season.
