DFCO, Police seize 8.5 quintal suspected Paneer

JAMMU: Drug and Food Control Organisation and Police have seized a huge quantity of suspected Paneer being transported into Jammu and Kashmir in highly unhygienic condition.

As per an official statement, Station House Officer Bagh-e-Bahu Jammu Ashwani Kumar established a naka at Rakh Morh and intercepted a bus bearing Registration No - AR 20B 0888, which was on the way from Delhi to Katra. While checking the bus, the Police found suspected Paneer weighing about 8.5 quintal (approx.).

On receiving the call from the concerned Police station, a team of Food Safety Officers led by Deputy Commissioner Food Safety Division Jammu Madan Magotra and Deputy Commissioner IcLc, Jammu Pankaj Soni lifted legal Sample for Lab analysis under the provisions of FSSA 2006.
