Determination knows no bounds! Meet Ankush Kapoor, Informatics Officer at Jammu Municipal Corporation, proving that with strong willpower, anything is achievable.
From Jammu Municipal Corporation to UT level Nodal Officer for J&K Housing & Urban Development Department, Ankush Kapoor's journey is a testament to his hard work and dedication. His intellect and commitment are widely recognized by the UT Government of J&K, evident in the numerous key assignments entrusted to him.
As per the J&K Government orders available with Jammu Links News team, at present he is Nodal Officer for National Urban Digital Mission on behalf of J&K H&UDD to coordinate with the concerned ministries of Govt. of India for the implementation of online services in entire H&UDD departments.
-He is also the Nodal Officer and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Digital Communication Readiness Index (DCRI) on behalf of J&K H&UDD. Other than this, he is the Nodal Officer for HRMS in respect of H&UDD.
-Furthermore, he is the Nodal Officer for integration on Digilocker platform, Auto Appeal System, UMANG platform, Urban Water Body Information System and all other IT related activities of H&UDD.
-Gone are the days of tedious visits to municipal offices for birth and death certificates. Now, with online applications, you can obtain digitally signed certificates within 1-2 days, all from the comfort of your home.
-This innovation and the business process re-engineering is the brain child and the phenomenal work of Ankush. He is the man behind all the online services of H&UDD like Online Building Permission System, NOC for commercial establishments etc. At present there are around 27-28 online services available for H&UDD.
Despite holding multiple professional degrees in Information Technology, Ankush opted to work in the Government sector instead of the private industry. His mission is to drive pragmatic change for societal betterment. Leveraging his technical expertise, he pioneers the creation of numerous online services, aiming to simplify public life.
Recently as per GAD Order No.- 883-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated: 20.03.2024, he is nominated as Member Secretary of the Union Territory High Powered Steering Committee (UTHPC) headed by Chief Secretary and Union Territory Level Implementation Committee (UTLIC) headed by Commissioner Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department.
