ADGP Armed reviews arrangements for All India Police Football Championship

JAMMU: SJM Gillani-Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K chaired a meeting of officers at PHQ Conference Hall here to review the arrangements for upcoming 71st All India Police Football Championship, being hosted by Jammu & Kashmir Police at Srinagar from March 11 to 21.
During the meeting, the ADGP took stock of all the arrangements and preparations made by the different committees in connection with smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The concerned committee heads briefed the ADGP about the preparations/ arrangements made by them in their respective assignments.
The concerned committee heads also threw light on the issues pertaining to facility of transportation, deployment of liaison officers, reception of teams, sightseeing arrangements, boarding and lodging arrangements for the participating teams, managers and administration staff thereof.
Besides, the issues relating to preparation and printing of souvenirs, invitation cards, arrangements for opening, closing and presentation ceremonies of the event were discussed. During the meeting, the ADGP Armed J&K issued appropriate instructions to the concerned committees relating to their respective assignments.
He directed them to ensure that even the smallest thing related to the event should be foolproof and well planned. Earlier, Kuldeep Handoo DySP (Sports) APHQ apprised the house about all the arrangements earmarked to different officers for the smooth and successful conduct of the event and accordingly one by one arrangement including accommodation, transportation, security/ law and order maintenance, medical arrangements, food arrangements for the participating teams and others.
The Jammu based Police officers involved in the arrangements of the event physically attended the meeting whereas Kashmir based Police officers and officials of Football Association joined the meeting through video conference.
The officers who attended the meeting physically at Jammu include ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh-IPS, ADGP Hqrs. PHQ Manish Sinha-IPS, ADGP Railway J&K Sunil Kumar-IPS, IGP Hqrs. PHQ J&K B.S TootiIPS, IGP Traffic J&K Vikramjeet Singh-IPS, DIG (Jammu-KathuaSamba) Range Shakti Pathak-IPS, DIG Armed Jammu Nisha Nathyal-IPS, DIG Crime J&K Javid Iqbal Mattoo-IPS, AIG P&T PHQ J&K Gurinderpal Singh-IPS and many others.
