PSO Refresher Course concludes at PTTI Vijaypur

VIJAYPUR: The one-month-long PSO refresher course organised by Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur concluded here on Friday.

As per a statement, the objective of the course participated by 19 police personnel of various units was to enhance the capabilities and tactics of police officials to protect VIP/protected persons.

During the valedictory function of the programme, Shiv Kumar, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur emphasised the importance of PSO course keeping in view the present security scenario.

The course, he said, will help the police personnel in performing their field duties with VIPs/Protected persons "as these trainees have been taught crisis management, reaction drill, evacuation, anti-ambush techniques, tactical position taking and medical contingency besides all required Dos and Don'ts including precautionary measures to be adopted while performing PSO duties".

Rajinder Singh Rahi, Vice-Principal, Zia-Ul-Haq, DySP, Kuldeep Kumar among others were also present during the valedictory function.
