ANANTNAG: In an ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking, police in south Kashmir's Anantnag have arrested two drug peddlers in separate incidents and recovered over 550 grams of charas powder from their possession, police said.

An official said that the drug peddlers were arrested in the Srigufwara and Utersoo areas of the district.

In a post on X, Anantnag Police wrote, "Anantnag Police arrested 2 drug peddlers in separate incidents at Srigufwara & Uttersoo. 550g of charas powder recovered."

Police said that the First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in this regard. It also added that an investigation related to the matter is underway.
