SHOPIAN: On the directions of the Director AYUSH J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir, a comprehensive free medical and awareness camp was successfully organized today at village Durahpora, Shopian.
The camp was jointly conducted by the Ayush Health & Wellness Centres (AHWCs) of Wachi, Turkawangam, and Dachoo.
A team of dedicated medical professionals provided free consultation and distributed free medicines to the locals.
A total of 315 patients, including children, men, and women, availed the healthcare services.
The primary objective of the camp was to bring healthcare to the doorsteps of rural residents, raise awareness about preventive health practices, and promote the benefits of traditional AYUSH systems for holistic well-being.
Participants also received guidance on disease prevention, lifestyle management, and the role of AYUSH therapies in promoting long-term health.
The community expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, which reflects the commitment of the AYUSH department to equitable and accessible healthcare for all. |
