Anil Gupta takes over as Director Agriculture Jammu

JAMMU: Anil Gupta today assumed charge as the Director of Agriculture Jammu here at Krishi Bhawan Talab Tillo. His appointment is being widely welcomed and the stakeholders anticipate renewed growth and modernization in Jammu's agriculture sector under his leadership.

With a wealth of experience and recognized expertise in the agriculture sector, Anil Gupta is poised to bring fresh energy and strategic direction to key initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, diversification and enhanced farmer income.

A warm welcome was extended to Anil Gupta in a ceremonial programme organized at the Directorate of Agriculture. The event was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs) Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Joint Director (SLUB) Sohan Singh, sectoral heads, senior officers and staff members, who expressed their commitment to work collaboratively under his guidance to achieve new milestones in agricultural development.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gupta expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and shared his vision for inclusive and technology-driven agricultural development in the region.

He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, timely implementation of government schemes and continuous engagement with farming communities to ensure that the benefits of policies and projects reach the grassroots level.

He reiterated his commitment to improving service delivery, boosting productivity and supporting farmers through innovation and capacity building. He assured that all the service-related issues of all cadres will be resolved on priority.
