SHOPIAN: District Election Office (DEO) Shopian, today organized a comprehensive training session for all newly appointed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the district in the Meeting Hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex Arhama, Shopian.

The training was imparted by District Level Master Trainers, who provided detailed instructions on the roles and responsibilities of BLOs in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India.

Key topics on which training imparted included the maintenance and verification of electoral rolls, procedures for inclusion, deletion, and shifting of voter names, and the effective use of digital platforms for voter registration and data management.

A special focus of the session was to orient the BLOs on their specific duties for the upcoming Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls.
