DDC Chairman Udhampur lays foundation stone for school boundary wall at GHS Gandala

UDHAMPUR: Chairman District Development Council Udhampur Lal Chand laid the foundation stone for the construction of school boundary wall at Government High School Gandala, today.

The project being undertaken under the SAMAGRA scheme is estimated to cost Rs. 9.5 lakh.

The DDC Chairman was accompanied by prominent citizens and the staff members of the school.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman congratulated the school staff, students their parents and the local residents for the fulfillment of this long-pending demand.

The DDC Chairman emphasized the importance of quality educational institutions in shaping the future of the society. He reiterated that the DDC is fully dedicated to bring governance and development initiatives to the grassroots level, ensuring that benefits reach every corner of the district.

He issued strict instructions to the contractor to maintain the quality of the work and complete the same within the stipulated time period.
