ADDC Poonch reviews relief claims under SDRF

POONCH: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Pankaj Magotra today chaired a meeting to review and verify relief claims submitted under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).

During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on 36 relief cases received from various Tehsils. After detailed deliberation, the Committee approved 24 cases, including two involving fatalities - one due to a landslide in Mendhar and another by cloudburst in Tehsil Mandi.

Of the remaining cases, 10 were found ineligible and hence rejected, while 2 cases were deferred for further verification.

The ADDC emphasized the need for timely and transparent processing of all relief claims to ensure speedy assistance to the affected families.

The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Mohd. Sayeed and all concerned Tehsildars.
