ADC Rajouri conducts extensive field visit, reviews yatra arrangements in Nowshera

RAJOURI: Additional Deputy Commissioner Pritam Lal Thapa today undertook a comprehensive field visit to inspect the ongoing maintenance work along the National Highway in Nowshera He was accompanied by officers of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).

During the visit, the ADC also inspected several government institutions including the offices of the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Dandesar, Block Development Officer (BDO) Lamberi, Primary Health Centre (PHC) Lamberi, High School Chack Jarallan and Higher Secondary School (HSS) Lamberi. During the inspection, two employees were found absent from duty without prior intimation. They were issued show cause notices on the spot.

Earlier in the day, ADC Thapa chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the upcoming Shri Budda Amarnath Ji Yatra. The meeting was attended by the key stakeholders including officers of the civil administration, and representatives from Langar Samiti, Santan Dharam Sabha and Thakurdwara.

The ADC emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to ensure smooth conduct of the Yatra and directed concerned departments to ensure timely completion of all necessary preparations.
