DLC Ramban reviews Change of Land Use cases

RAMBAN: The District Level Committee (DLC) on Change of Land Use met today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan to review the status of the cases received from different parts of the district.

The meeting was attended by ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo; GM DIC Ravinder Anand; SDM Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan; SDM Gool Imtiaz Ahmed; ACD Shrinath Suman; DFO Batote Abhinav Ramotra; DFO Ramban Hitender Singh Chandel; Executive Engineers of JPDCL, Jal Shakti, PWD Ramban and Banihal and other concerned officers.

A total of 14 CLU cases were taken up for review ensuring thorough scrutiny of documents and verification of compliance with land conversion rules.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to make the CLU process effective and foolproof. He further instructed the concerned officers to recommend cases strictly as per the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act.
