DLSA Pulwama team visits Central Jail Srinagar

Interacts with the jail inmates, gets feedback with regard to facilities provided

PULWAMA: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama under the chairmanship of Chairman DLSA, Malik Shabir Ahmad (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Pulwama, Secretary DLSA Pulwama Mudasar Farooq, along with LADCs Pulwama, Shopian today visited the Central Jail Srinagar and interacted with the under trial prisoners presently lodged in the Central Jail Srinagar.

During the visit, the team in presence of Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar comprehensively interacted with the jail inmates and got feedback with regard to their facilities being provided by the Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar from time to time.

The said visit was conducted in the run up to UTRC campaign 2025 and to identify the eligible under trial prisoners which will be taken up in the next meeting.

The detunes were also asked to approach PLV at a legal aid clinic for their legal assistance and other related problems and will be brought to the notice of concerned courts.
