Special Lok-Adalat on MACT, Matrimonial & Bank Cases on July-26 in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: As per the calendar of activities issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority, a Special Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held on 26th July, 2025 at the District Court Complex, Srinagar.

Primary focus of the special Lok Adalat will be on the amicable settlement of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) cases and Matrimonial cases. In addition to these, Bank-related cases shall also be taken up for settlement on the same day.

All concerned who wish to resolve their MACT, Matrimonial, or Bank-related cases through this Special Lok Adalat are hereby notified to approach the respective courts immediately. This will enable the listing of their cases before the appropriate bench for early and amicable resolution through the Lok Adalat mechanism.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to promote speedy justice and reduce the burden of pending litigation through mutual compromise and settlement. All stakeholders are requested to take full advantage of this opportunity for a swift, cost-effective, and cordial resolution of their disputes.
