KISHTWAR: In its continued effort to promote inclusive development and ensure efficient service delivery to tribal communities, the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) celebrated Day 11 of its awareness campaign with a successful multi-departmental IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) outreach camp at Patshalla, Panchayat Tipri, Block Drabshalla, District Kishtwar.
The camp witnessed the active participation of DDC Member Bounjwah Aemna Banoo, BDO Bounjwah, along with other senior government officials, further strengthening the collective push for better service access for tribal populations.
The 15-day IEC awareness campaign is aimed at fostering both social and economic upliftment within the tribal communities.
The camp brought together key departments including Health, Agriculture, Education, ICDS, Employment, Rural Development, and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA).
These departments set up dedicated booths where they provided crucial information, scheme registration assistance, application support, and distributed materials in the local languages.
This initiative was designed to ensure that members of the tribal community, particularly those from remote areas, could directly engage with the services offered by the government. Officials were present to address queries, offer guidance and provide immediate solutions with clear timelines, emphasizing transparency and a proactive approach to service delivery.
One of the key highlights of the camp was the ongoing dialogue between field-level officers and local residents.
The camp has received widespread appreciation from the tribal community, with local residents commending the district administration's commitment to outreach and its people-centric approach.
