ADC Kishtwar reviews implementation of DAJGUA Campaign

KISHTWAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Kotwal today chaired a meeting to assess the implementation of the 15-day Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan in the district.

The ADC reviewed the progress achieved in dispensing the services like Aadhaar enrollment, registrations for Ayushman Bharat, issuance of Caste Certificates, benefits under Forest Rights Act, Kisan Credit Card (KCC) coverage, registrations for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pension Schemes and the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, among others.

The ADC emphasized the importance of sustained efforts by all concerned line departments to ensure that tribal communities receive the full benefits of these schemes. He particularly urged the departments to focus on strengthening outreach at the sub-division, tehsil and block levels to maximize participation and awareness.

He further directed the concerned officials to promote awareness about key initiatives like the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the Mission YUVA program, which are crucial for the well-being of the youth and communities in the district.

The meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali, PO ICDS Rishi Kumar Sharma, CEO KDA Kaiser Bhawani, DIO Dr Kuldeep Kumar, besides other senior officers and concerned staff.
