Mission Shakti hosts 5 day Civil Defence Training at Palash, Parisha R.S. Pura

JAMMU: Mission Shakti District Hub for the Empowerment of Women Jammu (Social Welfare Department) today inaugurated Five day Civil Defence Training Program at Palash and Parisha, R.S. Pura to equip inmates, staff and locals with essential knowledge and skills on emergency response and personal safety.

The training is part of Mission Shakti DHEW's ongoing efforts to build self-reliant and resilient communities, especially in border and rural areas.

The training witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, staff, and children of Palash & Parisha, reflecting the community awareness about disaster preparedness and civil safety.

Deputy Controller CD Zi ul Haq, Chief Warden Parmjit Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden R. Vijay Magotra, expert trainers from the Civil Defence Department imparted hands-on training focusing on basic first aid, fire safety, evacuation drills, and rescue methods used to assist victims during natural or man-made emergencies.
