e-KYC drive intensified in Ramgarh to streamline PDS

SAMBA: To enforce transparency and improve targeting under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Samba has intensified its e-KYC verification campaign in the Municipal area of Ramgarh through a door-to-door exercise.

The drive is being conducted by Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Ravi Kumar under the overall supervision of Assistant Director FCS&CA Rahul Gupta in line with the directives of the Director, FCS&CA, Jammu UT of J&K.

The initiative aims at 100% Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries, elimination of ineligible and duplicate entries for effective and transparent ration supply through the Public Distribution System (PDS).

Local residents and fair price shop dealers have extended active cooperation, making the verification process smooth and result-oriented.
