RAJOURI: In a major initiative aimed at bridging developmental gaps in tribal areas, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today launched an intensive campaign under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJ-GUA) across the district.
As part of this campaign, awareness and benefit saturation camps were held across the 30 villages the other day. The campaign witnessed overwhelming public participation, reflecting the people's trust and growing awareness about government initiatives for tribal upliftment.
As many as 30 senior officers were deputed to oversee the camps and focus on gap analysis in service delivery and developmental initiatives.
Similar special camps were also organised today at five key locations of Larkuti, Soker, Gundha, Khawas, Panjah and Thatpali Ponthal, spanning across five blocks of the district.
"The primary objective of these camps is to ensure 100% saturation of welfare schemes, generate awareness about entitlements and collect real-time feedback from the tribal population," the DC said.
To ensure effective implementation and coordination, Assistant Commissioner Development Auqil Naveed has been directed to oversee the overall execution of the campaign. Senior officers including Additional Deputy Commissioners, ACR and SDMs monitored the camps at their respective locations to ensure smooth conduct and redress of public grievances on the spot.
