DC Poonch attends DAJGUA Awareness Camp at Panchayat Bhainchh

POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today attended the ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan' (DAJGUA) Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp at Village Bhainchh to assess the ground truthing of government schemes in the area with major tribal population.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the comprehensive approach of the campaign, which involves 17 Union Ministries to execute 25 key government interventions on the ground.

"We are fully committed to ensuring that no eligible tribal household is left out of the benefits under the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan. The campaign is a step toward inclusive and equitable development," the Deputy Commissioner said.

The camp witnessed active participation of government departments including Health, Education, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Agriculture, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Water Supply, Power, ICDS and Mission POSHAN. The departments set up dedicated service stalls, offering on-the-spot assistance, awareness and enrolment for different schemes.

The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with field functionaries and beneficiaries to assess the outreach and effectiveness of services being provided, reiterating the administration's resolve to make governance accessible and transparent at the grassroots level.
