GHSS Sialsui takes out anti-drug abuse awareness rally

RAJOURI: As a part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a spirited anti-drug awareness rally was organized at Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Sialsui on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.
The event was held in collaboration with the school staff, students, and local residents under the guidance of Incharge Principal Pankaj Sawhney and close supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote, Mohammad Tanvir.
The rally passed through the main market and adjoining areas of Sialsui village, with students and staff raising slogans and displaying placards to highlight the harmful effects of drug abuse. The initiative aimed to sensitize the general public and mobilize community efforts towards building a drug-free society.
Participants took a solemn pledge to never consume or promote drugs and vowed to work collectively to ensure their surroundings remain free from the menace of substance abuse. The rally also served as a call to action for youth to channel their energies towards constructive and nation-building activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Incharge Principal Pankaj Sawhney, Dr. Shakti Sagar and Shoket Ali (Teacher, HSS Sialsui) encouraged the participants to act as ambassadors of change and to spread the message of a Nasha Mukt Bharat within their communities.
Similar awareness events and rallies are being organized across different parts of Rajouri district under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, reflecting the district administration's firm commitment to eradicating the threat of drug addiction.
