DC Poonch inspects ongoing works in Township

POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing footpath construction work from Nakha Wali Chowk to the Post Office and Hathi Gate in the heart of Poonch city.

The Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) apprised the Deputy Commissioner of the project's current status and key details. It was informed that the project is being executed at an estimated cost of ₹66.64 lakh. The DC reviewed the quality and pace of the construction, ensuring that the work adheres to the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and complies with prescribed engineering standards.

Emphasizing the significance of improved civic infrastructure for public convenience, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite the work and ensure its timely completion, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
