Arrangements for International Yoga Day finalized at Gool

GOOL: A meeting to finalize arrangements for the upcoming international yoga day 2025 was held here today.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Imtiaz chaired the meeting.

The meeting discussed necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the event and wide public participation. The stakeholder departments were asked to spread mass awareness about the importance of yoga for physical and Mental Well-being. It was decided that the main function would be organized at Mazimkund.

The SDM directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate arrangements including cleanliness, sanitation and Health services and the deployment of Medical teams at all venues.

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Harjeet Singh, SDPO Kuldeep Raj and officials from line departments.

Meanwhile, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate chaired another meeting to review the maintenance of Roads, culverts, and drains from Munsif Court to Hospital.

Senior officials, including JE Ajit Chaurasia, BRO Gool Budhan C.S. Meena, OIC 52 RCC Ramban Gool attended the meeting.

The SDM discussed various issues related to road maintenance and infrastructure development.
