DC Udhampur chairs District level implementation committee meeting under Mission YUVA

UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under Mission YUVA to evaluate and approve financial assistance proposals of aspiring entrepreneurs.

The meeting was attended by IAS Probationer Seerat Baji, Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, General Manager DIC, Kishore Singh, Assistant Director Employment, Priyanka Gupta and other officers concerned.

A total of 33 applications were placed before the committee for consideration. After thorough evaluation and due deliberations, the committee approved 29 applications for financial assistance under Mission YUVA, aimed at fostering youth-led entrepreneurship in the district.

The DC directed the concerned officers to obtain a written undertaking from applicants in cases where the unit cost is above the prescribed scale of finance clearly stating the beneficiary is willing to bear the rest amount on his own to ensure transparency and financial viability of the proposed ventures.
